Hey all you HB Longboarders -

It's about time we all get together again!

As busy as I have been (designing new and exciting products for the sport and still involved in the dh racing season) I am anxious to "meetup!"

October is breast cancer awareness month and I think we have all been touched in some way by this issue. Whether we know someone affected, we all have mothers or sisters or aunts or girlfriends. Boarding For Breast Cancer (B4BC) is a skateboarding non-profit organization that holds fund raising events and provides information, etc all supporting this cause. My companies, Abec 11 and Skatera, both hold B4BC in high regard and consider it a privilege to participate when we can.

On October 24th they are hosting an event in Santa Monica. Please see the following link http://www.b4bc.org/index.php?area=event&event=62. Notice that to register, there is an associated cost of $25 and registration closes on Oct 22nd. While I dont think you have to register to skate the path, I encourage you to do so as the money is going to a great cause.

Please join us in Pushing for the Cure October 24th in Santa Monica. This event garners attention from the likes of Fuel TV and Grind TV. Of course I will be there to show off some new product. Im a great resource, too, and cant wait to meet some of our newest members and share some helpful tips and answer questions.
