First off camping is just plain fun, especially at the beach. Trestles is less than a quarter mile away which we skate daily. The entrance to the campground becomes a 25-35mph downhill sweeping left, right, 100yd straight into a 90 degree left. Then a mellow left right into the last straight untill you hit the loop at the bottom approx 600yds. Calafia offers 30mph+ and milder sweeping turns into the same loop ending on the beach. Light sand on the sides of the road makes for easy slides without getting bucked. Trestles trail is a fun one to bomb too and is only a short skate from camp. The hills surrounding the area are full of lines for those who want to explore. Just got back from 4 days there without one complaint, and even rounded up some random campers with longboards to join us. Slide gloves are highly recommended as well as helmets and pads. We just wore slide gloves and helmets. We have been, and will carry on camp shredding so if anyone ever wants to join us, hit me up.
