Ahhhh....Spring is here and I have woken from my winter hibernation.
Yeah right! I have been BUSY!

One of my Abec 11 Team Riders, Mischo Erban, won the 2009 IGSA Downhill World Cup Series on all my components; new wheels are coming out soon; Abec 11 and Skatera are co-sponsoring the Not-For-Profit section of the Vans Warped Tour with Concrete Wave this summer; Skatera is taking over the Girlz Garage on the Vans Warped Tour; a movie about downhill skateboarding that I Executive Produced and put a ton of money into debuted in Vancouver, Canada a little while ago with great reception; and my reality tv debut just happened this past Wednesday night on First Love Second Chance on TVLand where I was re-united with my college girlfriend from almost 30 years ago!

And that ain't the half of it!

I want to thank all of you for joining this group and we are looking forward to 2010 being an incredible year on so many levels.

April 22nd is Earth Day. As longboarders, we know skateboarding is more than landing a couple tricks on a shortboard. We know it can be about transportation, cruising, carving, sliding, downhill, and simply having a great time. We also know the best company for longboarding is Abec 11 where we LOVE the color green...and we are local!

In honor of green and in honor of Earth Day, we want to invite you all to join us Saturday, April 17th at Edison Community Center in Huntington Beach for the first Meetup of 2010. Join Abec 11 and Skatera along with our other sponsors, Altered Electric Skateboards and Hamboards, to enjoy a day in the sun longboarding. See some of my latest and greatest hardware and ride some of the coolest boards around.

RSVP now....I may even provide lunch!
I'll give more details soon, but I wanted you all to save the date!

The first Meetup of 2010 was a lot of fun! Thanks to all who came out. Just going through some of the photos taken and will post some shortly.

Bummer I slept in! ): I was planning on going. but I was out late With My Band Fight Friendly.!! We Played a House Party In San Clemente... It Was Awesome and we got a few more Fans(:

Lots of fun!!! Got to cruz with some groms and hang with alot of real genuine cats. I was really impressed by the diversity of the boards in attendance. Great food for all and positive vibes. Don't miss the next one! shoots!
